We advised Weston Homes on the acquisition of a 4-acre brownfield site development opportunity adjacent to Harlow Railway Station, assisting them in securing the site off-market for a major residential development of 361 new homes. Planning permission was secured and the land purchase completed in accordance with the conditional contract entered into at the outset.

Edinburgh Gate now offers a collection of one, two and three bedroom luxury apartments. It is situated in a prime location for commuting into the City. London Liverpool Street can be reached in under 30 minutes.

BURY ST EDMUNDS, Tayfen Road

We introduced a development opportunity to Weston Homes comprising 9 acres of residential land and advised in relation to the purchase of the site for 188 homes comprising a mix of town houses and apartments.

Located close to the town’s railway station within the Station Hill Masterplan, the land has been identified by the Council for mixed-use development. Tayfields includes a range of 1,2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes in a prime town centre location.

LANGHAM, NR COLCHESTER, School Road

We provided development consultancy, planning and disposal advice to a private client on two areas of greenfield land promoted for housing through the Colchester Borough Council local plan review process. Following council support, undertaking a targeted marketing exercise and engaging with Vistry Homes (Linden Homes Ltd) and advised on terms for a conditional subject to planning disposal on a price flexible basis, dependent upon overall dwelling numbers, affordable and planning gain costs.

Monitoring throughout the planning process to the point of release and disposal of the first 5 acre parcel, to be followed by a similar approach on the clients additional landholdings.

TETBURY, London Road

We have provided planning and development consultancy advice (over the last 30 years) to a private landowner client in this attractive Cotswold market town, securing piecemeal land allocations and releases for residential development. Most recently we advised the landowner on an option agreement with a promoter on the final 9.3 acre parcel. They have now secured planning permission for 240 dwellings on a wider 22 acre site, which is now being built out by Miller Homes.
