Orpington Town Centre

We advised a national food retailer on extensive and complex, long leasehold purchase discussions with the London Borough of Bromley, for a key landmark 2.1 acre town centre site. We agreed terms and liaised with parties over a period of years, prior to the release of planning permission for a major mixed-use scheme. This incorporated one of Tesco’s first London located Extra stores (80,000 sqft plus), with integrated shoppers and neighbouring office users’ decked parking and residential flats above.

Norwich Road, Wymondham

We advised The Retail Development Partnership on the disposal of a 3.5 acre edge of town centre site. This was offered with the benefit of planning permission for food retail development of 35,000 sq ft plus associated facilities. It was marketed on a competitive, informal tender basis to a selected list of retailers and investors and sold to Morrisons.
